The battles of a "Future Mother-in -Law".....

I have been having a problem with my boyfriends mother....

We all just recently just started promoting a 90-Day Challenge together and since doing that we spend A LOT of time together......Before joining the company together we had our problems being around each other but it wasn't anything that couldn't be handled with a little space.

NOW however....it is a nightmare.

She KNOWS BEST all the time, you cannot get a word in, she interrupts everyone speaking when we are at our "Challenge Parties". Pretty much if she is not in charge and running the show all HELL breaks loose.

She is impossible to be around right now and it is causing problems between me and my BF. I have talked to my BF about everything that she has been doing lately and sometimes I think it goes in one ear and out the other!!

Things have gotten a little better with me and my BF but his mother is another story....she is such a DRAMA queen and everyone is starting to see it. It is sooooo annoying.

Change of Direction..

Ladies as much as I love shoes....I have to take a slight break from purchasing and blogging about them. If I do blog about them it will be about the ones I am longing to buy!!! LOL I just need to start saving for a future wedding (whenever that happens lol)

I did find a dress however that I WILL own one day!

This is a 'Shoshanna' dress! This pretty lil thing retails for almost $400 so I will be saving for this also! Then the perfect shoes to go with the dress would be the new wedge Kristin Cavalari is designing for SD. It's a pretty hot pink wedge but I really don't think i would wear it with anything else besides this dress....

Crisp White Dress....Vibrant Colors....

So as everyone can already see I love to shop online and get ideas for my closet! So I was taking a peek over on the Bloomingdale's website and fell in L-O-V-E.....Seriously though I cannot afford a thing on there yet but one day I will be able to. Until I can here are two style boards (just the shoes and dress) that I just threw together! Bloomingdale's plus other stuff I actually have lol!

I absolutely HEART white so when I saw this Aqua Dot dress that is very well made...[think strong fabrics]....I just had to post it and with white you can wear ANYTHING your heart desires with it. There are no limits. Maybe that's why I love it so much, eh? Let me just add that I cannot wait to get my hands on Nicole Ritchie's 'House of Harlow' pumps!!!!!!!

Let me just start off by saying ....OH-EM-GEE!!!!! These shoes are AH-MAZ-ING!!!

I fell in love the moment I took them out of the box. Seriously, I wouldn't lie to you! I got the Anouk's in Royal Blue (they also come in coral) and are breathtaking in person!

They are vibrant, comfortable, fit true-to-size, and are SMOKIN' SEXY!

(Sorry once again about my pedi...haven't had time lol)

I have to admit I only have 2 shoes from Sole Society but they have got to be the MOST comfortable shoes out of Shoedazzle and ShoePrivee (haven't worn my shoes from SP for an extended period yet though! So the verdicts still out on those shoes!)
Marco Santi shoes are the BOMB.COM! Haha seriously though they are well crafted on top of everything I have mentioned. The heel never feels like it is as high as it looks and you can actually WALK in these versus others I have worn!

Now I am craving them in CORAL....ahhhhhh this addiction must stop!

[waiting till 3am to see if I really want the 'Fearless' shoe from Shoedazzle].....hummmm not as in love as I thought I was.....Tough decision.

Introducing...the 'Kovie' Heel!

It's my birthday week....yay!!!!!!!!!!!

So in honor of this special occasion, I decided that I needed a super cute shoe in my favorite color....MINT GREEN! So the hunt began....

I searched a ton of sites and found some cute ones on Urbanog but nothing really stood out to me.

I got on Zappos and found the 'Kovie' heel by Michael Antonio!

It has a double platform (1 1/2 in) and the heel measures around 5 with a key hole opening on the top of the shoe.....with measurements like that I needed to go up a 1/2 size so my foot would have room and my toes wouldn't be squished! I am hoping that they are not big!!!!

These shoes come in about 5 colors I think...grey, black, orange/red, cream/nude, and mint. So get yours today!

I will post reviews of how they fit when they come in!

Very comfy...I usually wear a size 8 1/2 in wedges but Shoe Privee only had whole sizes...so I went up to a 9 and they fit but are just a tad big in the back strap. No biggie, they don't come off when I walk so they are staying! Not sending these beauties back :-)

I have been reading some reviews about other peoples orders, how they can NEVER get in touch with customer service and that they haven't received their shoes (shipping issues), etc.
Now I have never [knock on wood] had an issue with any of that. For example: I ordered Anita on Monday, shipped Tuesday and delivered to my home on Thursday!!!! No problem there my dolls!

It is official Ladies....

I AM IN LOVE WITH MY BLACK VOGUES from Shoedazzle!!!!! (With PINK Signature Soles!!)

They fit me true to size and are actually comfy! The only small downside would be that they are extremely slippery on the bottoms. Nothing a little sole protector cannot fix! (BTW Shoedazzle sells them!) I bought the 'Foot Petals' kit from Shoedazzle as well and the kit is worth the $$$!!!!

Invest in them! I promise you will make use of them.

I cannot WAIT for the newest "Shoedazzle Cares" shoe!!!!

P.S.> Now I am stalking the following: Hayes, Chanelle (black), and Vogue (Pewter)!!!

Amour and Amerie

Good afternoon ladies!

I got my 'Amours' in on Friday and I must say, they literally fit like they were made just for me! LOL I usually order a size "8" from Shoedazzle but by looking at how the shoe fit the model (and the description saying it fit 1/4 small) I decided to go up a half size.

SOOOO glad I did because I would have been sad for days if I had to send them back. It took me a month of stalking this shoe before I snagged it!!!! SCORE for me!

Now I am on the hunt for 'Hayes'.....size 8. If you see her PLEASE email me! That brings me to my next piece of news....I now have an email address just for my blog! Yay! I figured it would be a great way to get in touch with me in more real time versus on here.

I got my 'Amerie's in on Saturday and I am HIGHLY dissapointed in this shoe. I ordered her on a whim because when I saw her I "had to have her"....well not so much!!! The shoe is aweful. Fits like a gladiator, makes your feet look much bigger than they are...etc. Ugh they are going back on Monday. Everyone that has gotten them has sent them back. I cannot imagine someone actually loving this shoe and it making them look good. If there is someone out there who loves it I am sorry....I did not :-(

Are there any good suggestions to being able to take pictures of yourself in shoes (just feet)? I am finding it difficult to take decent pics to post on here with them being on my feet! I want to be able to show how they really fit. Feel free to email me with suggestions!!!

Just a FEW things!

So I am kinda behind on a few reviews!!! Oh-em-gee don't be too mad :-(

So I bought the "Proliss" hair straightner in Zebra print from Shoedazzle and so far I have used it once and it did way better than my 2" Chi! So I think this one gets the GREEN light! Check!

Then I FINALLY got the shoe I have been stalking forever from Shoedazzle...drum roll please...

THE AMOUR!!!!! (sorry pics are small) I don't have them yet but they will be here FRIDAY!!!!

Now I will say I do love Shoedazzle....the quality isn't always the greatest versus SoleSociety or Shoe Privee but the selection Shoedazzle gives you is sometimes better than the other two sites! I also broke down and used my last Living Social credit to purchase the newest SIGNATURE shoe from Shoedazzle this AM. More to come on that later when I actually get it in!

Then I bought the 'Amerie' from Shoedazzle but I think I may return it...I haven't even got them in yet but I have seen pictures of women that have gotten them and I DO NOT LIKE...ewww so another credit it shall be because those babies are going BACK!

By being a member of the fan sites on FB I gather a lot of different shopping info....the newest site I am OBSESSED with is Urbanog! Talk about Amazing prices on shoes and clothing!!! Check it out :-)

Well dolls it's off to work I go to help pay for this Shoe-addiction I have!!!

I FINALLY purchased some of the foot petal inserts from Shoedazzle tonight using my Living Social credit! I am super excited because I will finally be able to fix some of my shoes that are a little big.

Yay! I woke up this morning to a WONDERFUL surprise! The website Living Social was selling the Shoedazzle voucher (purchase for $19) and you get a pair of shoes! The shoes are regularly $39! Not too shabby especially if you get 3 friends to buy you get yours for free! YAY!

Anyway I got my "Update" shoe in from Shoe Privee and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! They are a little big in the heel but it's no biggie!

Hello Ladies!

So Shoedazzle has recently paired up with Rent the Runway What is this you may ask?

  It is a site where you can actually rent a Christian Siriano cocktail dress that would run you a whopping $1,750 bucks if you bought it but if you rent it for 4 days it will only run you $250!!!

How it works: 

On their home page you will enter the date of you event, your size and zip code where you want the dress shipped. You can then filter through by using size, occasion, etc.

You will be directed to a calendar to see if your days are available. What's really cool is that they will send you a back up size absolutely FREE! So you really don't need to worry about size.

 So what if you spill wine on the dress, lose a stone or even get a zipper stuck? From what it seems they offer insurance for a small fee of $5.00 that covers all of that. They also have FREE return shipping and dry cleaning is on them!

I do not know all of the details because I have not rented from them yet but so far it seems kinda cool :-)

 Now I personally would rather go out and buy a dress to have in my closet but for certain dress designers like Christian Siriano I might would make that ONE exception lol! Because there is NO WAY I would ever be able to afford a dress like that! It would also depend on the occasion as well!

So I kinda caved.....

Yes ladies....I caved and bought a pair of shoes from Shoe Privee! I am actually kinda excited for it to come in!

I do not have ANYTHING like it in my closet. So when I saw it I knew I just had to have it!

To the (left) is the newest addition to my closet 'Update'

A little nervous though because I don't know how the shoes fit, if they are comfortable, etc...

I guess I will find out and blog about it when they come in!

When you are done with the profile you have the option to buy some shoes at a 25% discount + free shipping. The shoes are normally $39.95 + free S&H

The 25% discount makes the shoes $29.95 (not a bad deal!!!) Here are some of the selections they chose for me right off the bat:

When I checked out the different views of the shoes I could tell that some of them are by 'Cupid'. I don't know if that helps anyone make a decision but just food for thought!

I have a TON of favorite links saved on my computer for sites that I shop for clothes, shoes, etc. So I thought I would start to share some of those with you!

Have you ever wanted a Marc by Marc Jacobs design? What about a couture dress? Or those cute Betsey Johnson shoes?! Well at certain discount/closeout websites you can have it! I just recently bought a 'MM Couture' dress from Ideeli and I am so in LOVE with it!!! 

Not only can you find sweet steals at these websites on clothing but also on shoes, bags, home decor, jewelry and even vacations! Pretty sweet right?!

Try this website also RueLaLa! It is pretty much the same concept as Ideeli.

Both websites are FREE to join and do not cost a monthly fee. So you basically sign up and receive emails with the latest sales in their featured boutiques. Easy as pie! 

Are you more of a vintage chick? ModCloth is a great website to search for the perfect 'romantic' vintage inspired dress, shoes, and accessories. I got a mint green ruffle dress from there and LOVE it!!!! On Modcloth there are customer reviews and sometimes even a picture so you can see how it fits! Some of the items go pretty fast and the price range VARIES greatly. There could be a $34 dollar dress next to a $109 dollar dress. Just depends! 

I could go on and on with my list of faves but you will have to patiently wait as I unveil them to you!

Well.....maybe just one more! Check out Etsy. It has a lot of pretty cool handmade stuff on there. You can find almost anything you want. I had been looking for a pair of small, sparkly, mint green earrings....so I got on the Etsy site and found a shop The Glass Cat that had what I was looking for just not the color. 

What was really awesome is that I could make a special request through her to see if she could make the color earring I was looking for. Tadaa!!! Said and done, and they are the MOST beautiful earrings I own!

Decisions, Decisions....

Okay ladies, I came up an outfit (all pieces I have) but as soon as I put it all together I got another great idea. I will let you look at picture first then tell you my idea!

The belt I thought could accent the waistline because the dress has a very blousey top. Also I threw the turquoise jewelry because I love the combo of silver and the two blue/green families together!

I wanted a slightly wider belt but for right now I don't have one :-(

So after I put this together, I realized my leopard wedges and other cool jewelry would be perfect as well!! Also any coral, orange colors could be accent colors as well. I just put the blues/greens together because they are some of my faves. Oh the possibilities in fashion are endless :-) !!!

Just a thought...

Would anyone want me to post other shoe finds that aren't from Shoedazzle or Sole Society?? I have soooo many shoes in my closet I am kinda wanting to post random pics! I think I have counted over 50 pumps/heels at least!!

I also am thinking of pairing outfits together with shoes/accessories on here for everyone to view...watcha' think??! You know just to maybe spark a different view of what you may have in your closet to put together in a different way than you would have before. I know I am on a 'budget' (or so I tell myself) so maybe by me posting ideas you could put together NEW exciting outfits! 

Who knows maybe it will help me be more creative with my stuff by trying this idea out!

First off, she is AMAZING!!!! I wore them to church this morning and let me just say I never felt the need to take her off! Ultra comfortable, and I got soooo many compliments on her! I even had an old man stop me to tell me how pretty my shoes were (and that they hurt his eyes because they were so tall haha!)

The quality of the shoe was AMAZING! Although I have never had any issues with Shoedazzles' quality of shoes, I must admit Sole Societies' shoe quality now has one up on Shoedazzle.

Good morning dolls!! I woke up and just had to write a blog :-)

So I was on another website and I found two shoes that resembled the ones on Shoedazzle's website!

Oh and by the way I caved in and bought another PAIR OF SHOES last night before I went to bed they are the 'Amerie' shoes! AHH gotta stop because in addition to doing that I bought a dress, several belts, and two pair of earrings last night as well!!! I'm seriously going to need another job!

Okay here are the shoes that I found:

This is a wedge from Forever21 that retails for: $24.80

Not the exact match but pretty close!

 This is the 'Josephine' at Shoedazzle: $39.95

Again not the exact match, it has a suede touch versus the smooth leather in the Shoedazzle wedge.

MORE SHOE REVIEWS

Okay so I need to do more explaining when I post pictures of shoes! Well let's start with the rest of the Shoedazzle shoe pics that I promised to post:

This is the sought after 'Mel B' shoe! She is a special celebrity designed shoe by Mel B aka 'Scary Spice'! The shoe sold out within 5 minutes and is very hard to come by. This shoe is 1/4 of an inch too big for me and I am a size 8. They do not slip off or anything and I put a foot petal in the front to help my foot from slipping forward any. She is VERY comfy although I have not worn them for a long period of time yet I do not see it being un-comfortable! If it is I will just go buy a damn shoe insert because she is to HOT to take off lol! I mean who wouldn't wanna wear a jewel encrusted heel?!?!

I think this may have been my third shoe purchase the 'Ciji'....I had NO IDEA how popular this shoe would be. It sold out almost as fast as the 'Mel B'! When I saw this shoe (which by the way comes in a maroon and a navy/black) I just knew I HAD TO HAVE IT!!! True to size, super comfy, and way hot! I get sooooo many compliments when I wear her! She scuffs easily though so you have to be careful, use the plastic bags to keep them in when you place them back into the box! I find any excuse I can to wear her!!!! I wish Shoedazzle would make her in every color/pattern possible!!!

This is 'Josephine'! When I saw her on the website I wasn't sold right away but I knew I needed a brown wedge so I decided to order the tan (see below) first. I got her in tried her on and found out that I needed to size up. I ordered an 8, so I called customer service (CS) and asked how much I should size up. The rep said 1/2 size just in case...didn't want it to be too big. So after I hung up I realized I had bought the darker color (above) in the same size 8, so when she came in I sent her right back as well to get different sizes. They both haven't come in yet but I am excited to see how the 1/2 size makes a difference!

OBSESSION!!!

I think I am in need of some "retail" rehab!!! Or maybe another high paying job to afford everything I want....and have been spending waaaay too much money on :-( ahhhh oh well you only live once right? 


Okay so I have already told you about Shoedazzle (by the way more shoe pics to follow on that one), well today when I get home I should have a *NEW* pair of pumps!!! From where you might ask, well they aren't from Shoedazzle but from "Sole Society". Pretty much the same concept but they are supposed to have a higher quality shoe..blah blah blah. They are a tad bit more expensive ($49.95) but I had a discount code to make them $39.95+ free shipping, well I decided to try them out and see how it goes. 


What do they look like? Why, thanks for asking HAHA! They are the coral 'Kayla' pumps (I couldn't resist from a shoe named after me, could I??)  A GREAT color for the Summer.....super excited!!!! Will post pics/review of the shoe.


The only downside so far to Sole Society is that they are just starting out from what I gather and the shipping is a little slow and I don't think they have all of the kinks worked out yet. I am giving them a shot though and like I said, will post reviews once I actually get the shoe! From what I have heard of others who have received their shoes they seem to be pretty happy for the most part!


Hummm (Though bubble)........I think the new trend for summer bikinis are the ones that pretty much look like lingerie with lace and little ties on the sides/top bikini! I found a few and will share that later also!

Shoedazzle PICS!

I wanted to post pics of all the FABULOUS shoes I have bought on Shoedazzle! (Try not to freak out, I kinda have an obsession!!!!!) I will randomly post pictures of other shoe/clothes finds as well!

Okay Dolls!!!! Who doesn't love a great deal on a fabulous pair of shoes?! Well I know I sure as hell search for the BEST deal all of the time. So here is what I am obsessed with as of lately: SHOE DAZZLE!!! Here is how the site works:

-You create a unique style profile that lets the stylist pick 5 shoes for your "showroom". It usually takes 24 hours to see your selections. If you are not pleased with your selections you can request "ALTERNATE" shoes and again it takes another 24 hours to see those as well.
*(you do have to enter your credit/debit card information in order to see your showroom)

-There is also a button that says "see shoes that almost made your top 5" and sometimes you can see cool shoes there as well.

- If you absolutley do not like any shoes you can "SKIP" that month and your card will not be charged. You have up to a certain day to "SKIP" for me it is the 7th of every month. I just always skip on the first when I get the email saying my showroom is available to avoid being charged ....because you can always purchase at anytime that month.
