So Shoedazzle has recently paired up with Rent the Runway What is this you may ask?
It is a site where you can actually rent a Christian Siriano cocktail dress that would run you a whopping $1,750 bucks if you bought it but if you rent it for 4 days it will only run you $250!!!
How it works:
On their home page you will enter the date of you event, your size and zip code where you want the dress shipped. You can then filter through by using size, occasion, etc.
You will be directed to a calendar to see if your days are available. What's really cool is that they will send you a back up size absolutely FREE! So you really don't need to worry about size.
So what if you spill wine on the dress, lose a stone or even get a zipper stuck? From what it seems they offer insurance for a small fee of $5.00 that covers all of that. They also have FREE return shipping and dry cleaning is on them!
I do not know all of the details because I have not rented from them yet but so far it seems kinda cool :-)
Now I personally would rather go out and buy a dress to have in my closet but for certain dress designers like Christian Siriano I might would make that ONE exception lol! Because there is NO WAY I would ever be able to afford a dress like that! It would also depend on the occasion as well!
